Anchorage School Business Partnerships (SBP) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) with a mission Engaging community to inspire youth toward a vibrant future. SBP provides connections, tools and resources for meaningful partnerships between schools and local business organizations. Participating businesses range from large for-profit corporations, state entities, to one-person operations. Each partnership is designed to serve both student needs and the business mission.
SBP began in 1991 with a system that provides guidance and direction for the program as a whole. Over the years, there have been more than 600 organizations involved, resulting in an economic impact of $1.2 million annually. Learn more about building a partnership here.
Our Goals

- Foster meaningful and impacting relationships between business and schools
- Develop quality partnerships for the benefit of all ÅÝܽÊÓƵapp students and staff
- Cultivate opportunities for career and workforce development
- Recruit community and business partners and match with local school needs and volunteer opportunities
- Recognize and honor students, educators and businesses who participate in the School Business Partnership (SBP) program through the Spirit of Tomorrow program
- Gather community and school leaders to have meaningful conversations about education through our Leaders in the Schools program
