Office Space Assignments – Academic Units

ÅÝܽÊÓƵ University owns all campus spaces, which it assigns to schools, departments and individuals. Space assignments are subject to review at any time, with the possibility that space will be re-assigned at the request of a faculty member, chair, dean or the provost.  The provost is the ultimate arbiter of how and to whom academic spaces are assigned.

The guidelines below provide information on the general space type that is assigned for an individual’s workspace within an academic unit. Due to special considerations, such as individual responsibility, space constraints, building configurations and limited availability, some variability in assignments may occur.

*See  the Office of the Provost's Faculty Office Space Policy for additional information regarding faculty offices.
